NEET 2026 Seat Allotment Result Link LIVE: Round 1 Allotment Result at mcc.nic.in; Login, Direct Link

Aug 26, 2026

MCC has released the final NEET UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result at mcc.nic.in, following the revised provisional result issued earlier due to a PwD certificate upload error. This is the result that actually matters for admission — candidates should act on this one, not the earlier provisional versions.

How to Check Your Result

  • Visit mcc.nic.in, the official MCC website.

  • Click on the UG Medical Counselling tab on the homepage.

  • Select the link reading NEET UG 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment Result.

  • Log in using your application number and password.

  • Your seat allotment letter, showing allotted college and course, will appear on screen.

  • Download and print the allotment letter — it's mandatory for reporting and document verification.

The result is also available as a downloadable PDF listing all allotted candidates, in addition to the individual login-based allotment letter.

Key Points

  • Total seats allotted: 29,945, comprising MBBS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing seats across 15% All India Quota, AIIMS, JIPMER, and Central and Deemed Universities.

  • Reporting window: August 22 to 31, 2026, at the allotted institute, with original documents and the MCC allotment letter.

  • Freeze option: for candidates who don't want to upgrade further — physical reporting at the allotted college is required.

  • Float option: for candidates seeking a better seat in Round 2 — no physical reporting is needed, but scanned copies of documents must still be submitted online through the MCC portal.

  • All candidates, Freeze or Float, must mandatorily submit scanned documents online by logging into their MCC account.

What to Do Right Now

Check your result immediately and match every detail — rank, allotted quota, institute, course, and category — against your own records before deciding anything. Decide between Freeze and Float carefully: freezing secures your current seat but ends further participation in this cycle, while floating keeps you in contention for Round 2 without losing your current allotment, provided documents are submitted online on time. Regardless of which option you choose, have your documents fully ready and verified before the reporting window opens, since online submission is mandatory either way. If you're evaluating whether to freeze or hold out for something better, revisit how your rank maps to realistic college options and the broader logic of choosing the right institute based on genuine fit before floating purely on the hope of a better name. If you didn't receive an allotment this round, later rounds and stray vacancies typically bring fresh opportunities, so this isn't the final word.

Always verify your result directly at mcc.nic.in, and refer to MCC's full counselling process guide for the complete Round 1 through Stray Vacancy Round timeline.
