Candidates from other States and Union Territories are specifically advised to check their eligibility by reading the Prospectus before applying, since eligibility rules differ for candidates who completed their BDS outside Andhra Pradesh.

Type

  • This is a Management Quota admission notification for MDS courses under Dr. NTR UHS, Andhra Pradesh, for 2026-27.

Eligibility Note for Candidates from Outside Andhra Pradesh

Candidates who completed their BDS outside the State or Country are eligible only for Sub-category S2 (NRI) and Sub-category S3 (Institution) seats — they cannot compete for S1A/S1B seats reserved for candidates within the state's counselling structure. Additionally, any unfilled S1B seats will be opened up to candidates from across the country only during Phase-III (Mop-Up) counselling, and only after all eligible S1B candidates already in the state process have been considered first.

What Candidates Should Do Now

  1. Download and read the Prospectus and User Manual on the university website before applying, since it covers other eligibility conditions, registration rules, and the full counselling procedure.

  2. Apply within the fee-free window (21st–24th September) to avoid the steep late fee, which adds ₹20,000 regardless of category.

  3. Keep NEET MDS 2026 scorecard and required documents ready for scanning and upload, as originals will need verification.

  4. Monitor the university website regularly for all further notices, circulars, and allotment updates — no individual communication will be sent to candidates.

  5. Budget for the full cost of admission — registration fee, university fee, and the applicable tuition fee — before finalising your choice of Management Quota or NRI/Institutional Quota seats.

For the complete notification, Prospectus, and online application, candidates should visit the official Dr. NTR UHS admissions portal, or contact the helpline numbers listed in the notification between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
