Andhra Pradesh BHMS Management Quota Admissions 2026-27: Online Applications Open, Cut-Offs & Fee Details

Overview

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (UHS), Vijayawada, has released a Detailed Notification inviting online applications for admission into Management Quota seats in Private Un-aided Non-Minority BHMS Colleges for the academic year 2026-27. The notification, dated 16th September 2026, is open to candidates who qualified NEET UG 2026 and covers the Under Graduate Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) course.

Applications must be submitted online along with scanned documents for verification, and the process is being conducted strictly by Dr. NTR UHS — no offline or non-counselling-based admission is permitted under current Ministry of AYUSH and NCISM rules.

• This is a Management Quota admission notification for BHMS courses under Dr. NTR UHS, Andhra Pradesh, for 2026-27.

• The university is responsible for application processing, merit list preparation, certificate verification, and conducting the Management Quota counselling itself.

NEET UG 2026 Qualifying Cut-Offs

Candidates must meet the following minimum percentile and score thresholds to be eligible:

• General category (OC/EWS): 50th Percentile, score range 715–213.

• Persons with Disability – General category (OC/EWS): 45th Percentile, score range 212–194.

• SC/ST/BC: 40th Percentile, score range 212–177.

• Persons with Benchmark Disability of BC/SC categories (PwBD-BC/PwBD-SC): 40th Percentile, score range 193–177.

• ST with Benchmark Disability (PwBD-ST): 40th Percentile, score range 191–178.

Notably, the notification clarifies that the lower qualifying percentile for SC/ST/BC/PwD categories is only for eligibility purposes — there are no reservation quotas under Management Quota, so these relaxed cut-offs do not translate into reserved seats. Caste certificates issued by other state governments will still be accepted for determining eligibility cut-off scores.

Application Schedule and Fee

• Application Window: 2:00 PM on 17th September 2026 to 9:00 PM on 23rd September 2026.

• Application & Processing Fee: ₹3,600 (bank charges extra), payable via Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking.

• Applications can be submitted through apuhs-ugadmissions.aptonline.in/UGAYUSHMQ or drntr.uhsap.in.

• Important: The online application portal will be unavailable from 8:00 PM on 18th September 2026 to 10:00 PM on 20th September 2026 due to scheduled server maintenance — candidates should plan submission outside this window.

• The fee once paid is non-refundable and cannot be adjusted to a later date. All schedule dates are tentative, and the university reserves the right to change them without prior notice.

Participating BHMS Colleges and Seats

For the 2025-26 academic year, Management Quota seats were distributed as follows (the 2026-27 seat count, as permitted by NCISM/NCH, will be displayed before counselling):

• Maharaja Institute of Homoeo Medical College, Vizianagaram — 42 MQ seats

• KKC Homoeopathy Medical College, Parameswara Mangalam, Puttur, Chittoor District — 42 MQ seats

• ASR Homoeopathic Medical College, Prathipadu, Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District — 42 MQ seats

• Sri Adi Shiva Sadguru Ali Saheb Shivaaryula Homoeopathic Medical College, Guntakal — 42 MQ seats

The tuition fee for these colleges is fixed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh at ₹24,500 per annum, as per the applicable G.O.s. Separately, all selected candidates must pay a University Fee of ₹20,100, due at the time of downloading the allotment order online — this fee, too, is non-refundable under any circumstances.

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum age: Candidates must have completed 17 years as of 31st December 2026. Those born on or after 1st January 2010 are not eligible, and age is calculated based on the SSC (or equivalent) certificate.

• No upper age limit applies.

• Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, and must have secured the minimum qualifying percentile in NEET UG 2026, as per NCISM regulations dated 01.08.2025. 

Documents Required for Online Application

Candidates must scan and upload the following (in PDF or JPG/JPEG format as specified):

• NEET UG Rank Card 2026 (mandatory)

• Date of Birth Certificate / SSC Marks Memo (mandatory)

• Qualifying Exam Certificate — Intermediate Marks Memo or equivalent (grade certificates not accepted) (mandatory)

• Caste Certificate (if applicable)

• PwBD Certificate — UDID Card and Affidavits in a single file (if applicable)

• Aadhaar Card

• Latest passport-size photo with name and date (mandatory)

• Specimen signature (mandatory)

Merit List and Admission Process

• The State Merit position will be prepared based on NEET UG 2026 score and rank, along with other notified eligibility criteria.

• After scrutiny of uploaded documents by the university and departmental officials, a Provisional Merit List will be released, followed by a Final Merit List once candidate grievances, if any, are addressed.

• Admission remains strictly provisional at every stage — appearing in the merit list does not guarantee acceptance, and the university retains full authority to reject or cancel candidature if documents are found incorrect, fake, or forged at any point.
