Overview

(Yoga & Naturopathy) U.G. Medical Degree Course for the 2026-27 session. Registration opens on 26th September 2026, choice filling runs from 30th September to 4th October, results are due on 6th October, and reporting must be completed on or before 12th October 2026 by 5:00 PM.

Round 2 Schedule
Registration: 10:00 AM on 26th September 2026 to 5:00 PM on 28th September 2026.
Processing and display of virtual vacancies: 29th September 2026.
Choice filling and choice locking: 10:00 AM on 30th September 2026 to 5:00 PM on 4th October 2026.
Processing of seat allotment: 5th October 2026.
Results: 6th October 2026.
Download of provisional allotment order: 7th October to 5:00 PM on 12th October 2026.
Reporting: on or before 5:00 PM on 12th October 2026.
The schedule is marked tentative, so candidates should watch the official website for any revision.
Who Should Participate, and Who Need Not
Candidates who want to keep their Round 1 seat do not need to take part in Round 2 at all.
Candidates who want re-allotment or an upgrade must register and fill fresh choices. Their Round 1 seat is released for other candidates during Round 2 choice filling.
Candidates who joined a seat and want to upgrade pay no fresh registration fee, but they must log in during the registration window to confirm participation. Without this step, their seat is not treated as a virtual vacancy and they are not eligible for upgradation.
Candidates who registered in Round 1 but got no seat, or who were allotted a seat but did not join, need not register again.
Candidates who did not participate in Round 1, were not allotted, or did not join can take part in Round 2, provided they had already applied to the Tamil Nadu AYUSH Selection Committee and their names appear in the published merit list.
Processing Fee for New Candidates
Candidates who applied but did not register for choice filling in Round 1 must pay a one-time, non-refundable processing fee online (debit card, credit card, or net banking) before choice filling:
Government Quota / seats surrendered to Government only: ₹500.
Management Quota only: ₹1,000.
Both Government and Management Quota: ₹1,500.
Choice filling opens only after this fee is paid. Candidates who already paid the ₹500 registration fee in Round 1 need not pay again.
Advance Tuition Fee
Candidates in OC, BC, BCM and MBC categories, along with SC/SCA/ST and BC-Christians (converted from SC/SCA/ST) who do not hold a valid family income certificate below ₹2.5 lakh a year, must pay an advance tuition fee through the online mode:
₹5,000 for Government Quota / seats surrendered to Government.
₹10,000 for Management Quota.
₹10,000 for candidates who applied for both.
Anyone who already paid this in Round 1 does not pay again. SC/SCA/ST and BC-Christian candidates with a valid income certificate below ₹2.5 lakh are exempt.
At the allotment stage, candidates allotted seats surrendered to Government in self-financing colleges who paid only ₹5,000 must pay another ₹5,000 to download the allotment order, while those who paid ₹10,000 pay nothing more. Candidates allotted Management Quota seats must pay an additional ₹15,000 advance tuition fee, as per the prospectus, before downloading the order.
Choice Filling and Locking Rules
Candidates can fill choices for every seat category they applied for. A candidate who applied for both Government and Management Quota can choose across both.
Choices can be edited any number of times before locking, but not after locking. Changing the college after locking is not allowed for any reason.
If a candidate does not lock choices by the last date, they are locked automatically.
Special category candidates who did not get a seat under special category reservation can lock choices for the general category per the general merit list. This applies only to Government Quota seats in Government colleges, not to surrendered seats or Management Quota seats.
Reporting and Admission
Candidates allotted a seat must download the provisional allotment order and report in person to the concerned college within the date and time given. They must submit original certificates with photocopies and a self-declaration form. Failing to report on time cancels the allotment and admission automatically without notice, and any false information can lead to cancellation at any stage.
What Candidates Should Do Now
Decide whether to keep your Round 1 seat. If you are happy with it, no action is needed.
Register between 26th and 28th September if you want a fresh allotment or an upgrade.
Pay the correct processing fee if you are a new participant, and confirm any advance tuition fee due.
Fill choices in order of preference between 30th September and 4th October, and lock them carefully.
Download the allotment order and report by 5:00 PM on 12th October.
The notice also warns candidates never to share login ID, password, or OTP, and states that the Selection Committee is not responsible for internet or connectivity problems.
