The Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER), Haryana, has released the Round 1 Provisional Merit List cum Allotment of seats for MBBS and BDS courses under the 2026-27 academic session. Here's what's confirmed and what candidates need to do next.
What's Been Released
DMER Haryana has published the Provisional Merit List cum Allotment of seats for MBBS/BDS courses, covering candidates who applied under the 85% state quota for Government, Government-Aided, and Private Medical/Dental colleges across the state, including institutions under private universities like SGT University and Maharishi Markandeshwar University. According to reports, this Round 1 list covers seat allocation for 6,991 candidates.
Key Round 1 Dates
Registration for Round 1 closed on 31st August, 2026, with the counselling process having begun on 28th August, 2026. The Round 1 seat allotment result was declared on 2nd September, 2026. Candidates allotted seats must report to their allotted institutes between 6th and 9th September, 2026 to complete admission formalities.
This Is Provisional - Not Final
DMER has been clear that this is a provisional list, meaning it remains open to correction. The final allotment result will follow only after grievances raised against this list have been reviewed. Candidates who spot any discrepancy in their allotment, category, or rank should raise it through the official grievance channel without delay, since this window typically closes quickly.
How to Check Your Allotment
Visit the official portal, uhsrugcounselling.com, and look for the link to the Round 1 Provisional Merit List cum Allotment PDF. Use Ctrl+F to search for your roll number or name once the PDF opens, and note your allotted college, course, and category.
What to Do Now
Check your allotment status immediately and verify every detail against your NEET UG 2026 application - category, rank, and allotted institute.
If you find any error, raise a grievance through the official portal only; requests made through email or in person are typically not entertained for this stage.
If allotted a seat, prepare your original documents and report to your allotted institute within the 6-9 September window, since missing this can result in forfeiture of your seat.
If you wish to be considered for upgradation in Round 2, remember that accepting an upgraded seat later will automatically cancel your current Round 1 allotment.
