Manipur NEET UG 2026 Counselling: Round 1 Revised Schedule for MBBS & BDS Released

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Government of Manipur, has issued a revised schedule for the 1st Round of Manipur Medical e-Counselling 2026–27, covering MBBS and BDS admissions under State Government Quota, and MBBS under Management and NRI Quota at Shija Academy of Health Sciences (SAHS), Langol.

Why the Revision Happened

This revision follows the updated NEET-UG 2026 counselling schedule issued by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Government of India, dated 19th August 2026. It amends DME Manipur's earlier notification of 10th August 2026, which had first laid out the counselling process for this cycle.

Revised Round 1 Key Dates

Notification of Merit List of Applied Candidates is now set for 24th August, 2026.

Publication of Seat Allotment Result will follow on 28th August, 2026.

Reporting / Joining at the Allotted Institute runs from 28th August to 5th September, 2026.

What Hasn't Changed

DME Manipur has clarified that all other terms, conditions, instructions, guidelines, and provisions from the 10th August notification - including the SOP for Registration and the 1st Round of Counselling - remain unchanged. Only the three dates above have been revised.

What to Do Now

Check your name and rank on the Merit List as soon as it's published on 24th August, and be ready to act quickly once the Seat Allotment Result follows just four days later, on 28th August.

If allotted a seat, report and complete joining formalities at your allotted institute within the 28th August–5th September window - this window opens the same day as the allotment result, so early reporting avoids last-minute rush.

Keep checking the Manipur Medical e-Counselling portal (manipurmc.mn.gov.in) and the Directorate of Health Services website (manipurhealthdirectorate.mn.gov.in) regularly, since further updates will be communicated only through these official channels.
