The Directorate of Medical Education, Tripura, has revised the Round 1 counselling schedule, pushing nearly every stage of the process later by roughly a week. If you were working off the original schedule we covered earlier, this update replaces those dates entirely. Here's the current, confirmed timeline.
The Revised Round 1 Schedule
Fresh Registration, Payment & Final Submission (after Registration Unlocking): August 18, 2026 (3 PM) to August 27, 2026 (11 AM).
Registration Unlocking: up to August 27, 2026 (9 AM).
Remove Discrepancy: up to August 27, 2026 (11 AM).
Choice Filling: August 27, 2026 (2 PM) to August 29, 2026 (12 Noon).
Publication of Merit List: August 29, 2026.
Allotment Result: August 31, 2026.
Nomination Collection from DME Office (by allotted candidates): September 1, 2026 (12 Noon) to September 5, 2026 (2 PM).
Physical Verification of Original Documents & Admission Formalities: September 1, 2026 (2 PM) to September 5, 2026 (5 PM).
Last Date of Admission (Round 1): September 5, 2026 (5 PM).
All timings remain as per server time. Compared to the original schedule, the registration window has been extended by nearly a week, and every downstream stage — choice filling, merit list, allotment, nomination, and final admission — has shifted correspondingly later.
What to Do With the Extra Time
Use the extended registration and verification window to get documents right the first time rather than rushing, since having required documents ready and verified in advance matters just as much under a revised deadline as an original one. If you already registered under the earlier timeline, this extension gives you room to revisit your choice list with more care once filling opens on August 27 — understanding how your NEET score maps to a realistic rank and college options is worth doing properly now that there's more time. Physical nomination collection from the DME office remains unchanged in structure, just later in date, so plan travel accordingly for the September 1–5 window. If you're also tracking MCC's AIQ counselling in parallel, remember that timeline runs independently and hasn't shifted with this Tripura-specific revision. And if Round 1 doesn't work out, later rounds and stray vacancies typically bring fresh opportunities.
This information is based on the official revised schedule published by TRMCC. Always verify current dates directly at trmcc.admissions.nic.in, since this schedule has already been revised once this cycle.
